At WigWag we support a variety of business types and the documents you need to get started differ depending on your business type.

Below, we've outlined the documents required per business type support:

Business Type

Documents required

Sole proprietor

A copy of your ID

Your proof of address

Proof of your bank account (confirmation letter or statement)

Private company - (Pty) Ltd.

Your company's CIPC registration number


Your company's registration certificate (Certificate no.: COR 14.3)


A ID copy of all directors/shareholders that own 25% or more


Proof of address for the company


Proof of the company's bank account (confirmation letter or statement)

Please note that we can only accept South African companies registered with CIPC.

Personal Liability

Your company's CIPC registration number


Your company's registration certificate (Certificate no.: COR 14.3)


An ID copy of all directors/shareholders that own 25% or more


Proof of address for the company


Proof of the company's bank account (confirmation letter or statement)

Non-Profit Company

Your non-profit company's CIPC registration certificate (Certificate no.: COR 14.3)

Closed Corporation - CC

Your close corporation's CIPC registration certificate (Certificate no.: COR 14.3)


An ID copy of all members


Proof of address for the close corporation


Proof of the close corporation's company's bank account (confirmation letter or statement)

Please note that we can only accept South African close corporations registered with CIPC.

Partnership

An ID copy of both partners


Proof of address for the primary location where you do business


Proof of the business's bank account (confirmation letter or statement)
